Piper Holes Walk

A lovely walk along the canal and through lush farmland towards the source of the River Colne.

The route follows a section of the historic Huddersfield Narrow Canal, heading west past sites of industrial heritage, returning along the upper parts of the south-facing valley side. Part of the route leads you past some of the oldest houses in Marsden, where habitation dates back to the 15th Century.
